Our Story

At HEAT Health & Fitness, we deliver 45-minute, low-impact, high-energy cardio workouts designed to help everyday people get fitter, feel better, and build confidence - without the intimidation of a traditional gym.
 

As Newry’s cardio training specialists, our signature class BURN uses Bike, Row, and Ski Ergs to provide a full-body workout that’s joint-friendly and results-driven. Every session is heart-rate based, coach-led, and suitable for all fitness levels.
 

No egos. No pressure. Just effective training in a supportive environment.

How It Started

Founder Callum O’Neill left a career in food science to bring a better way of training to Newry & Mourne. With experience in both elite and recreational sport, he knew fitness didn’t need to mean heavy weights or high impact.
 

HEAT opened in August 2024 with one goal: to help people improve fitness, mood, and confidence in a welcoming space.
 

Today, our community is full of members who once said “I wouldn’t be fit enough” and now train consistently and confidently.

Our Classes

Our classes are built around performance, strength, conditioning, and movement quality. Each session is coach-led and structured so you always know what you’re working toward.

All classes are scalable - options are always provided so you can train at the right level for your experience and fitness.

Endurance & Power

High-energy bike, row, and ski sessions that build cardiovascular endurance, leg and core power, and overall stamina.

Conditioning

Dynamic, interval-based classes designed to push your heart rate, burn calories, and improve aerobic and anaerobic fitness.

Recovery Flow

Controlled, low-impact sessions using rowing, skiing, and cycling movements to improve mobility, recovery, and functional movement.
